It was a rare admittance from a basketball coach that he should've done something different.

But Krystkowiak did it, saying that his freshman center Jeremy Olsen deserved more minutes on Saturday against Colorado and that he deserves much more in the future.

The facts certainly seem the bear that out. Olsen was 6-8 for 12 points in 14 minutes against the Buffaloes. He scored in a variety of ways, and his presence offensively was missed down the stretch as CU almost rallied from a 22 point deficit.

"He should definitely play more," Krystkowiak said. "Oregon State and Oregon both have big frontcourts, and that certainly bodes well for him to get more minutes."

Olsen has been coming on of late, turning into a legit low post threat and providing a presence on the interior.

He combined to score 25 points with Jason Washburn on Saturday.
