Police say the suspect in two robberies of the same Salt Lake City Zion's Bank branch office earlier this month has been arrested.

Acting on information developed from unspecified sources, investigators identified the suspect in the robberies of the bank at 1420 S. 300 West . They also learned the 37-year-old man was staying at the Days Inn Hotel in Ogden.

Salt Lake City police notified their counterparts in Ogden, and officers there arrested the man without incident about 4 p.m. Saturday.

The man, alleged to have robbed the bank on Feb. 13 and 14, was turned over to Salt Lake City police and booked into Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of first-degree felony aggravated robbery. He remained behind bars Tuesday in lieu of $200,000 bail.

In both holdups, the suspect walked up to a teller, demanded cash and fled on foot. No weapons were displayed.

According to a probable cause statement, the suspect confessed to both robberies after being notified of his Miranda rights.
