In the wake of the Newtown massacre, PBS tackles the tough issue of guns with a series of programs. After Newtown: Guns in America (8 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7) looks at the evolution of guns in this country and how they're linked to violence in our society. Then Frontline (9 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7) airs the troubling report "Raising Adam Lanza," which looks into the background and possible motives of the Newtown shooter. This is the kind of reporting you're not going to find elsewhere on TV.Ironically, yet another show about serial killers premieres tonight.
