Visual art: Docent tours, sacred spaces and Braithwaite art auction

Free museum tours

Explore the galleries inside the Utah Museum of Fine Arts during a 30-minute docent-led tour. No need to pre-register.

When • Today, Feb. 24, 1:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3, 1:30 p.m.

Where • UMFA, 410 Campus Center Drive, Salt Lake City

Tickets • $7; children 6 and younger and members are free.

Scared spaces

Val Brinkerhoff photographs the architecture of sacred spaces and unlocks the timeless messages they stoically present.

Art Auction

The annual auction, sponsored by The Friends of the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery, will help cover the cost of a new exhibit: "Jim Jones: The San Blas Years."

Children's illustrations

Corinne Humphrey, the award-winning author and illustrator of children's books, will be the featured artist at Atelier AFA (formerly Borge Anderson).
