After RSL rookie Devon Sandoval scored a first-half goal, Salt Lake gave up a pair of second half goals to the Revolution. RSL tied the game on an Alvaro Saborio goal in the 88th minute. Trialist Khari Stephenson scored the go-ahead goal in the 90th minute.

Also Wednesday, Real Salt Lake traded the rights to midfielder Jonny Steele to the New York Red Bulls in exchange for a supplemental draft pick.

RSL declined to pick up an option on Steele at the end of last season, but the team still held his MLS first rights of refusal.
