A workshop to help Salt Lake County arts and culture groups secure public funding for facility construction or renovation will be held March 4 at the County Government Center, 2001 S. State St.

April 25 is the deadline to apply for matching funds next year from the county's Cultural Facilities Support Program. Electronic copies of the guidelines application form are available on the county Center for the Arts website, www.slccfa.org/cultural-facilities-support-program.

The workshop, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the council chambers of the government center's North Building, will help county-based arts groups, cultural organizations or businesses to understand and complete the document, said Center for the Arts spokeswoman Cami Munk.
