Sacramento, Calif. • Davion Berry scored 22 points, including four 3-point baskets, to pace Weber State to a 70-55 victory over Sacramento State on Thursday night.

Berry also had seven assists for Weber State (21-5, 15-2 Big Sky).

Scott Bamforth scored 14 points for Weber State, including four 3-pointers, and Joel Bolomboy scored 11.

"We were ready to play tonight and we had to be ready against a tough Sacramento State team," said Weber coach Randy Rahe. "I was really proud of our team how we fought and played hard in a tough environment and found a way to win. We were able to knock down some big shots in the second half that made a difference for us."

Sacramento State (13-13, 7-10) got 12 points each from Konner Veteto and Dylan Garrity, and Garrity handed out eight assists.

Weber State had a 10-0 advantage in second-chance points and 7-0 edge in fast-break points. The team also had an 11-6 edge in points off turnovers.

Frank Otis grabbed eight rebounds to help give Weber State a 37-28 advantage on the glass.
