Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• James Franco is criticizing Australia's film classification board, for banning screenings of a gay-themed movie by Travis Mathews (with whom Franco co-directed the Sundance Film Festival entry "Interior. Leather Bar."). [news.com.au]

• The much-anticipated (by somebody) sequel "Anchorman 2" just signed a big name: Harrison Ford (who played an anchor in "Morning Glory"). [Vulture]

• In other sequel casting news, Halle Berry will return as Storm in the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past." [Entertainment Weekly]
