Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• The nation was eager to walk the Yellow Brick Road, as Disney's "Oz the Great and Powerful" dominated the box office and took in an impressive $80.2 million. [Box Office Mojo]

• The rumor mill is buzzing with talk that actress/activist Ashley Judd will run for the U.S. Senate in her native Kentucky next year, as Democratic challenger to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. [The Huffington Post]

• At SXSW in Austin, Michael Cera and Sarah Silverman announced they are starting a comedy channel, Jash, on YouTube. It'll be adorable (like Cera) and abrasive (like Silverman) - it's abrasable! [The Hollywood Reporter]
