Two people were taken to the hospital, including one who was transported by helicopter, after a collision Friday night between a vehicle and a horse in Tooele County.

Dispatchers from Tooele County confirmed that the crash occurred on State Road 36 near the intersection with State Road 73. A medical helicopter from Tooele County was dispatched to the scene.

Utah Department of Public Safety Spokeswoman Susan Thomas said the crash involved at least two people who had to be transported for medical care. The other victim was transported via ambulance.

As of late Friday night, officials had not released details about injuries or their extent.
