We live in a time where we are afraid to speak up for what we feel is right. Many watch the news and disagree with what people advocate, yet we remain silent.

Many Republicans are saying that to win elections the party needs to change. Is winning more important than keeping one's integrity or core values?

I am a Republican because the party's platform is close to who I am. I do not believe in illegal immigration, but we need to do something about it. Marriage is between a man and a woman and should stay so defined.

Any drug, including marijuana, should remain illegal; I have seen the damage it can do. I support the Constitution and a balanced-budget amendment.

If the Republican Party changes to become more like the Democratic Party, then we all lose. The United States is great because we do have a choice, and that choice helps to keep us free.
