The BYU women's gymnastics team is headed to Tuscaloosa, Ala., April 6 for the 2013 NCAA Regional Women's Gymnastics Championships for the 22nd time in 25 years.

The Cougars scored 195 or better seven times this year, the most since the 2005 season when the team finished 11th at the NCAA Championships.

Among those competing against BYU is third-ranked and defending national champion Alabama, along with No. 9 Utah, No. 15 Denver, No. 23 Kent State and Iowa State. The top-two teams and the top-two all-around competitors (who are not representing an advancing team) from each regional will receive an automatic berth to the national championships.
