All cities

Recognizing those who give • Utah residents will be able to cast votes through April 30 for the state's Outstanding Senior Volunteer. Senior volunteers who have given more than 15 hours of their time per week can be nominated for recognition and a $500 award. Cast your vote at SalutetoSeniorService.com.

Bird watching • Taylorsville Library, 4870 S. 2700 West, is holding "The Big Month" Bird Watching Challenge until April 30. Stop by for a contest form and keep track of the birds you see. The winner, who will get binoculars, will be selected from a random drawing of the completed forms of participants who have seen the largest number of bird species.
