Plans for the weekend: 'Star Wars' music and more

• Rapper Andre Nickatina performs tonight at The Complex, 536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Roach Gigz, MUMBLS. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $25, at Smith's Tix.

• The Utah Symphony performs the music of John Williams — best known for his movie scores for "Star Wars," "Jaws," "Indiana Jones" and more — tonight and Saturday at Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 8 p.m. each night. Tickets available at ArtTix.

• The 10th annual Live Green Festival happens Saturday at Library Square, at 200 East and 400 South, Salt Lake City. Sustainability demos, prize giveaways, an auction, live bands, a solar-powered beer garden, and other activities are scheduled. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free.

• It's a double-geek holiday on Saturday, as Free Comic Book Day and Star Wars Day ("May the Fourth Be With You") coincide. Events are planned at: Dr. Volts Comics Connection, 2043 E. 3300 South, Salt Lake City; Hastur Games & Comics, 6831 S. State St., Midvale; Night Flight Comics, 6222 S. State St., Murray; and other outlets.

• Real Salt Lake plays host to the Vancouver Whitecaps in Major League Soccer action, Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium, 9300 S. State St., Sandy. Game starts at 7. (Show up in "Star Wars" regalia, to celebrate Star Wars Day.) Tickets available at the Rio Tinto website.

• The Utah Blaze plays host to the Spokane Shock in Arena Football League action, Saturday at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple. Game starts at 7 p.m. Tickets available at Smith's Tix.

• Oakland-based concept band Faun Fables performs Saturday at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening act: Purr Bats. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.

• The acoustic guitar jazz group The Gonzalo Bergara Quartet performs Saturday at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $17, at the venue's website.

• Singer-songwriter John Fullbright performs Sunday at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Parker Millsap. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15, at the venue's website.
