Why does the United States have so much more gun violence than other developed countries. Canada, France, England, Italy, Germany and Australia all have rates of gun violence well below that of the United States, which has more than 10 times the rate of these countries.
While there are some cultural differences, these countries all have similar social ills: mental health issues, drugs, violence in video games and movies, etc.
The obvious difference is the lack of reasonable gun control that has been prevented by the lobbying actions of the National Rifle Association and its stooges in Congress, over the past 20 years. Thanks, NRA, you've done a great job.
