Since it is a foregone conclusion that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will remove the gray wolf from the endangered species list nationwide (it almost never significantly changes a draft rule once made public), our state doesn't have to give the $300,000 appropriated by the Legislature to Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife or Big Game Forever to lobby in Washington, D.C., to get the government to delist the wolf and make sure that wolves are not "reintroduced" into Utah.

Nope — the job is done. Now those 300,000 taxpayer dollars can be funneled where they should have gone in the first place — our ailing school system.
