Salt Lake Symphony & Utah Voices to celebrate Verdi's 200th birthday

The Salt Lake Symphony will join with Utah Voices to present a concert celebrating Giuseppe Verdi's 200th birthday on Saturday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Libby Gardner Concert Hall on President's Circle on the University of Utah campus.

Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors.

With a recipe like that, the Salt Lake Symphony's bicentennial celebration of this Italian composer is sure to please all lovers of music. Collaborating once again with the Utah Voices and their director, Dr. Michael Huff, the Salt Lake Symphony will end their 2012-13 season in a big way. Come hear audience favorites and find out which were Verdi's favorites as well—he requested to be buried with the score to one of the evening's selections. Now, that's an intriguing recipe for a concert!
