Women's basketball: SLCC signs American Fork's Cassidy Fraughton

Salt Lake Community College women's basketball coach Betsy Specketer has announced the signing of American Fork High star Cassidy Fraughton. Fraughton, a 5-9 guard/forward, averaged 10.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Cavemen last season. She added 2.2 assists. American Fork went to the 4A quarterfinals and had an 18-6 overall record last season. Fraughton scored 934 points in her 92-game prep career. Earlier, Specketer signed Hillcrest's Whitney Nemelka and Sky View's Tara Goldman.
