Cooler, breezy and occasionally wet that's the late-week forecast for Utah, north to south and east to west.
The National Weather Service predicts high temperatures will slide into the low- to mid-70s Friday along the Wasatch Front, a dip of some 10 degrees from Thursday's expectations. Isolated rain showers and thunderstorms expected to debut Thursday afternoon were to continue through Friday as well as winds blew at 10-20 mph.
Southern Utahns expected winds of 20-30 mph to propel their storm clouds, while high temperatures in the upper-80s to 90 degrees on Thursday were to retreat into the low- to mid-80s on Friday. Rain and thunder were expected to arrive Friday afternoon in Utah's Dixie.
