Sigh. There's yet another Utahn on "The Bachelorette"

It just wouldn't be a season of "The Bachelorette" without somebody from Utah involved, would it?Among the 25 guys competing for airtime ... er, uh, competing for the heart of bachelorette Desiree Hartsock is Salt Laker Brooks Forester. As is their wont at "The Bachelorette," they're not handing out a lot of information about him.We do know that Forester is from Boise, Idaho; that he's one of 10 children; that he has a degree from the University of Utah; Forester's bio at Fit Marketing (fitmarketing.com/our-team), where he's a sales representative, tells us, "An adventurer, athlete and model in his spare time, Brooks brings vision and class to our team. He knows how to treat people right, and that's why he is the perfect person to introduce Fit Marketing to the world."You may recall that another Utahn, Jef Holm, was the "winner" on the most recent edition of "The Bachelorette" and was briefly "engaged" to Emily Maynard ... until they quickly called it off.In doing so, they joined almost all of the other couples in the franchise. Not one of the 17 "Bachelors" has proposed to a woman in the season finale and then married her; two of eight "Bachelorettes" have married their guy.

You'd have better odds in a singles bar.

We all know "The Bachelorette" manipulates truth for your maximum viewing enjoyment. It's hard to manipulate people into a marriage once the cameras are turned off.
