June 1 is the deadline to submit nominations for this year's class in the Utah Softball Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony will take place July 12 just before the first games of the resurrected Pioneer Days Men's Fastpitch Tournament, which will run for three days at the Larry H. Miller Softball Complex at 4400 S. 1300 East.

Nomination rules, categories, current members and 2013 nomination form are available at www.utahsoftballhalloffame.com.

The Hall of Fame is administered by the Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation Department. Its former director, Fred Tamagawa, is chairman of an eight-member committee of former players who will select this year's inductees.
