Luis Rodriguez hit his fifth home run of the season, Cole Calhoun went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Matt Long scored three times after drawing three walks as the Salt Lake Bees won at the Sacramento River Cats, 9-5, on Thursday night.

The Bees scored three runs in the first inning off River Cats starter Travis Banwart. They also scored two runs in the sixth and two more in the eighth.

Luis Jimenez knocked in two runs and Trent Oeltjen had two doubles for the Bees (25-30), who — after Friday's game at Sacramento — play their next eight games at home, starting with a four-game series against Colorado Springs at 7 p.m. Saturday.
