This morning, Salt Lake City's neighborhood cleanup crew has been picking up the piles of debris with front-end loaders and dump trucks from our curbs along Elizabeth Street. In the past, they have followed up with people with brooms to get the smaller particles left behind.

Today, however, the leftovers are still curbside. I called the city and was informed that "the street sweepers will come along in a week or two" to get the remainder.

A week or two? With cars parked along the curbs, how will that be accomplished in a thorough manner?

Please, finish the job completely.
