Commuters on the northbound FrontRunner line were experiencing delays early Wednesday due to an mechanical problem with one of the trains.

Utah Transit Authority reported a train experienced a power failure at the American Fork Station just before 6 a.m. Another train was dispatched to help passengers resume their trips.

Southbound FrontRunner traffic was not affected, though UTA warned northbound trains could continue to run a bit late through the rest of the morning from American Fork onward.
