Sebastian Vettel won the race, leading almost the entire way to extend his lead in the Formula One points race.
Starting from the pole position, Vettel finished 14.4 seconds ahead of Fernando Alonso's Ferrari. Lewis Hamilton, the 2012 winner, was third after holding the lead for three of the 70 laps when Vettel made an early pit stop.
Vettel, of Red Bull, picked up 25 points in the championship standings to extend what had been a 21-point lead over Lotus' Kimo Raikkonen. Alonso picked up 18 points to move into second, 36 points behind Vettel.
• Trevor Bayne rallied to win the rain-plagued NASCAR Nationwide series race in Newton, Iowa, becoming just the third series regular to win this season. Bayne caught pole-sitter Austin Dillon with 11 laps to go and hung on for his second career win and first of 2013. The race had been scheduled for Saturday night before being washed out by rain.
Bears to trade Carimi to Bucs
NFL • The Chicago Bears say they have agreed to trade former first-round draft pick Gabe Carimi to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The team confirmed the deal, which is pending a physical, on Sunday night. The Bears didn't say what they were getting in return, although a person familiar with the situation said Tampa is sending a sixth-round pick to Chicago.
The Outland Trophy winner as a senior at Wisconsin, the 6-foot-7 Carimi never quite lived up to expectations after the Bears took him with the 29th pick in the 2011 draft. He started the first two games at right tackle as a rookie before suffering a season-ending knee injury and appeared to be limited last year.
