Salt Lake's Matt Long hit a two-out RBI double in the eighth inning to break a tie, and the Bees went on to beat the host Colorado Springs Sky Sox 8-6 in a Pacific Coast League game Monday for their fourth straight win.

After the Sky Sox tied the game at 6-6 in the bottom of the seventh, Trent Oeltjen led off the eighth with a double to right field. Two outs later, Long sent a line drive into the right-field corner to bring home Oeltjen with the go-ahead run. Salt Lake would add an insurance run in the ninth on a triple by Kole Calhoun.

Luis Jimenez led the Bees with four hits and one RBI.
