Real Salt Lake midfielder Ned Grabavoy has been fined for an extra-time flop against the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Grabavoy was streaking down the left side of the field Saturday, when Galaxy midfielder Marcelo Sarvas made a challenge and Grabavoy fell to the grass. The referee ultimately showed Sarvas a yellow card.

But after the MLS Disciplinary Committee reviewed the play, Grabavoy was fined an undisclosed amount for "simulation."

The incident, however, could still prove more costly for L.A. Sarvas is set to miss the Galaxy's game against the Portland Timbers due to yellow card accumulation.
