Symphony under the stars • Enjoy the Murray Symphony Pops Night at the Movies at 8 p.m. this Saturday at the Murray Park Amphitheater, 495 E. 5300 South. The 80-piece orchestra will perform Hollywood's top tunes. Admission costs $6; children under 10 get in for free. For more information, call 801-264-2614.

Cottonwood Heights

Trot over for tail-waggin' fun • In answer to the question "Who let the dogs out?" Cottonwood Heights says, "We did!" This Saturday the city is hosting Bark in the Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mill Hollow Park, 2900 E. Hollow Mill Drive. Contests include dog/owner look-alike at 10:30 a.m., doggy costume at noon and doggy talent at 12:45 — register in advance at the appropriate contest tent. A police K-9 demonstration will be held at 11:15. Most events are free, and dogs can be microchipped and licensed for small fees.
