Lambs Canyon

Getting there • Take Interstate 80 east toward Park City and get off at the Lambs Canyon exit. Take a quick right on Lambs Canyon road and follow it to the trailhead. Parking is on the side of the somewhat narrow road.

Directions • This is a great hike for Salt Lakers who want to get on the trail quickly but avoid the crowds in Mill Creek Canyon. It's also a bit cooler, starting at a higher elevation and offering a good amount of shade.

The hike is a bit of a challenge — elevation gain is more than 1,400 feet. The trail is beautifully green, surrounded by aspens and wildflowers, and runs partially along the creek. This hike ends at Lambs Canyon Pass, but those looking to hike further can keep on going to Millcreek Ridge.
