Salt Lake City police are on the lookout for a butter-fingered, middle-aged female bank robber with bad teeth and poor fashion sense.
The woman wearing a pastel head scarf and cream-colored pants entered the Bank of Utah branch at 711 S. State St. about 1 p.m. Monday. She approached a teller, demanded and received money, and then fled the building on foot.
However, as she ran northbound toward 200 East, the suspect dropped the money when a red dye pack secreted inside the stash exploded. That, according to police, is when two men gathered up the cash, allegedly intending to keep it.
