Weekend traffic will be a little crimped on Interstate 15 through Lehi for the next two months.

Beginning Friday, the Utah Department of Transportation plans to narrow I-15 to two lanes between Lehi Main Street and 2100 North on weekends for bridge maintenance. The work is expected to continue through September.

It is scheduled for weekends — excluding holidays and BYU football home game days — to minimize traffic delays.

Lane closures are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. each Friday and continue through 6 a.m. the following Monday.
