• Jay-Z performed a single track, "Picasso Baby," over and over for six hours yesterday in a New York art gallery – and one of America's best art critics, New York magazine's Jerry Saltz, thought it was pretty cool. [Vulture]

• Actor Andrew Garfield, who currently plays Peter Parker in "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise, tries to be provocative by asking rhetorically, "Why can't [Spider-Man] be gay?" Millions of loyal comic-book readers could probably tell him to stick to the canon. [Entertainment Weekly]

• "American Idol" alumnus Adam Lambert has signed on for a role next season on "Glee." [The Hollywood Reporter]
