The six resident performing arts companies at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center (The Rose) will once again join forces for a second annual weekend celebration of the best dance, theatre, and music in SLC.
Last year, over 1,000 Utahns visited Rose Wagner for the first-ever celebration. "Last year's festival was such an astounding success that we've decided to make it an annual celebration every Labor Day Weekend," says Stephen Brown, director of SB Dance and president of the Performing Arts Coalition, the organization that organizes The Rose Exposed, in a press release. "This event is bound to be amazing when you have Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, Plan-B Theatre Company, Pygmalion Theatre Company, Repertory Dance Theatre, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, and SB Dance working together!"The Rose Exposed consists of a $15 Variety Show on Friday, August 30 at 7 p.m. and a day-long series of workshops, classes, readings, performances, and open rehearsals on Saturday, August 31.
All events on Saturday August 31st are free.
