Search and rescue officials on Saturday found two Boy Scouts who had been missing overnight in the high Uinta Mountains.
Duchesne County officials confirmed the boys had been found in Summit County Saturday afternoon. The sheriff offices of the bordering counties had been working together Saturday to locate the Scouts.
The two boys, ages 14 and 15, disappeared Friday while their troop was hiking to the Kings Peak area on the Henry's Fork trail, according to Duchesne County Sheriff's supervisor Wendy May. The boys reportedly walked ahead of their troop and were last seen near a fork where their trail split from another path heading to into the Painter Basin.
