All-terrain vehicle accidents recently claimed two lives in Sanpete County.

The Sanpete County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that 61-year-old Jeffery Pryor, of Nampa, Idaho, was killed when his ATV tumbled down an embankment in Manti Canyon on Monday afternoon.

The victim was pinned against a tree by his ATV and was dead at the scene, deputies said.

A teenaged girl also riding on the vehicle survived with minor injuries.

On Saturday, 15-year-old Levi Armstrong, of Price, died of injuries he suffered when his ATV rolled in Huntington Canyon Saturday afternoon. That accident occurred roughly midway between Miller's Flat and Joe's Valley.
