Here's what's being talked about over the weekend in pop culture:

• Author J.K. Rowling has won a court case against the lawfirm that leaked the news that she had written a mystery novel under a pseudonym. The settlement has been donated to a British charity. [The Hollywood Reporter]

• Veteran Hollywood publicist Cheryl Boone Isaacs has been elected president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She is the Academy's first African-American president. [Los Angeles Times]

• Actress Eileen Brennan, who played comic foils in such movies as "Private Benjamin," "The Sting," "Clue" and "Murder By Death," has died at the age of 80. [NBC News]
