Chicago • Two men have been charged with stealing baseball bats from Wrigley Field that were autographed by Alfonso Soriano and Ernie Banks.

The Chicago Police Department's media office says 29-year-old Jonathan Koziol of Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood was charged with felony retail theft.

Twenty-eight-year-old Robert Hack of the northern suburb of Niles faces the same charge and additional counts of aggravated battery of a peace officer. They appeared in bond court Wednesday, and both men were being held on $50,000 bail.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that the men were detained in the ballpark by Cubs security and arrested by Chicago police officers before they could leave.

Telephone numbers for the two couldn't be located and it wasn't immediately clear if they had attorneys.
