Tradewinds: Utah companies on the go, people on the move

Parsons Behle & Latimer has announced that Nick Greenwood has joined the firm's Salt Lake City office as a member of its corporate transactions and securities department. Greenwood represents clients in a variety of business matters, including corporate formation, debt and equity financing, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions.

Intermountain Healthcare has named Daniel G. Gomez, Gordon W. Harkness and Bradford R. Rich to serve on its board of trustees. Intermountain's board of trustees is comprised of 20 individuals who volunteer their time without pay to direct the nonprofit organization. Gomez is president of Gomez Corp. Financial Advisors & Insurance. Harkness is a family physician at the Intermountain North Canyon Clinic, which is part of the Intermountain Medical Group. Rich is president of SkyWest Inc., the parent company of SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, a provider of real estate services in Utah, has announced that Michael S. Pratt has joined the company as a sales associate in its South Ogden office. In his new position, Pratt will specialize in residential sales in Weber and Davis counties.

Bank of Utah, Ogden, has named Chelsi Banks, Teresa Thompson and Jodi Miller branch managers. Banks was promoted from customer service representative to manager of Bank of Utah's Orem branch. Thompson, a 27-year veteran of the banking industry, will serve as the branch manager of Bank of Utah's Sandy location. Miller, a former bank customer service representative, will serve as manager of the bank's Providence, Utah branch.

International law firm Dorsey & Whitney has announced hat Marcus S. Simon has joined the firm's as a partner, establishing a patent practice in the firm's Salt Lake City office.

Phil Hansen, chief executive of Clearlink in Salt Lake City, was recognized as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the services category. Clearlink is a provider of marketing and sales services.

Celtic Bank has named Rich Wilkinson to its SBA and commercial lending department where he will serve as a business development officer. He has worked at the bank for more than five years.

Truly Nolen of America, Inc., which bills itself as the largest family owned pest control company in the United States, has announced that Kevin Hall has been promoted to branch manager of its Midvale office.
