Utah co-offensive coordinator Dennis Erickson said he is looking for a clean effort from the offense, noting the Utes have made too many penalties and have hurt themselves with dropped passes.
Also a priority is the run game, where Kelvin York is expected to start but James Poole, Lucky Radley and Karl Williams continue to battle for playing time.
"We're looking to run it with success tomorrow, that is the biggest thing," Erickson said.
The Utes hope to get in 75 to 80 plays, Whittingham said.
"We'll get in some red zone work but mostly, we're just going to let them play," he said.
