Federal officials want to hear what residents think about transportation planning being done by state and local governments along the Wasatch Front.

The Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration have scheduled an Aug. 20 public meeting to solicit public comment on that topic. Remarks will be received from 4 to 6 p.m at Salt Lake City Public Library, Conference Room Four, 210 E. 400 South.

The meeting is part of a review assessing compliance with federal regulations in transportation planning processes conducted by the Wasatch Front Regional Council, Utah Transit Authority, Utah Department of Transportation and local governments in Salt Lake, Davis and Weber counties.
