Plans for tonight: Special Consensus does bluegrass

• Post-folk band Lake Mary performs at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening act: Taylor Ross. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $6, at 24Tix.

• Acoustic bluegrass band The Special Consensus performs at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Run Boy Run. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $15, at the venue's website.

• Singer Bill Medley, one-half of the Righteous Brothers, performs at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre, 699 S. State St., Orem. Show starts at 8. Tickets, from $15 to $35, available at the venue's website.
