Two big show announcements today (besides Living Colour coming to the Depot on Oct. 27):

1. Janelle Monae will perform at In The Venue on Oct. 25

2. Alfie Boe will perform at The State Room on Feb. 2

We last saw Monae in a mind-blowing show at UVU several years ago (opening for Bruno Mars), and Boe most notably was the featured guest at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's annual holiday extravaganza. He is a part-time Utah resident, and was Jean Valjean in the 25th anniversary concert of "Les Miserables" that was played and replayed on PBS.
