It was kinda sorta funny in an admittedly immature way when, upon arriving at Michigan, coach Brady Hoke made it a point to refer to Ohio State simply as Ohio.
Oh, snap … get it? It's quite the insult to "mix up" the Buckeyes with the somewhat-less-heralded Bobcats.
Of course, it's long since played out and no longer funny.
But now, OSU coach Urban Meyer, who has a history of similar antics (remember "the team down south," Ute fans?), has decided that no one watching his team practice may wear the color blue the color of Michigan!!! while doing it.
Take that, Wolverine lovers!
Of course, this rule was not public knowledge, especially to the pair of NFL scouts who were wearing blue shirts at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center this month and were yelled at by players and told by Meyer's staffers to change their shirts.
Not liking your rival is fine. Please, just don't be an idiot about it.
