A woman was in critical condition and on life support Wednesday night, one day after she was dragged by a truck and run over by a trailer during a fight in Spanish Fork.
The victim, 43, returned to her home, near 500 East and 350 South, about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to find an acquaintance of her estranged husband removing a trailer of ATVs and a snowblower from her house, said deputy Utah County Attorney Craig Johnson. The two women argued over the trailer, which already was hooked to the suspect's pickup truck. The suspect got into her truck, and the victim reached through the truck window to try to stop her, said Spanish Fork police Lt. Matt Johnson.
The victim's arm became stuck in the window when the suspect drove away. The victim was dragged "a short distance" before she fell from the truck and was run over by the trailer, Matt Johnson said.
