Our Saviour's Lutheran Church will celebrate Lutheran Day with the Salt Lake Bees. Before the game, enjoy a picnic on the patio at the ballpark.

Congregation Kol Ami Rosh Hashana

Congregation Kol Ami will hold Rosh Hashana services Sept. 4-6, starting with a candle-lighting ceremony at 7:30 p.m. and services at 8 p.m. On Sept. 5, activities begin at 9 a.m. with family services and end at 8:36 p.m. with a second candle-lighting ceremony. Folk Fest 2013

Folk Fest 2013 activities include a car show, golf tournament, games for all ages, rides for the kids, food and live music. The event is a benefit for St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, the Dorothy Day Food Pantry and the surrounding community. Visit stjoseph-wj.org for information.

Operation Christmas Child Luncheon

Join Calvary Chapel Salt Lake for its annual project leaders' Operation Christmas Child luncheon. Receive supplies, ideas and inspiration. Project leaders, pastors and OCC volunteers are all welcome. Journey of Hope with Immigrants and the Poor Walk

The Peace and Justice Commission will stage a prayer walk/pilgrimage from 4 to 6 p.m. The 2.2-mile walk begins at the soup kitchen and proceeds with stops for prayer at the 4th Street Clinic, federal courthouse, federal building and then to the Cathedral of the Madeleine for a Mass.

Magnificat Concert

The Cathedral of the Madeleine will sponsor Magnifcat, an intercultural concert to honor the patronage of St. Mary Magdalene. Tickets can be purchased during coffee hour after Sunday morning Masses.

The Eccles Organ Festival will begin Sept. 8 and run through Nov. 3. On Sept. 8, Nathan Laube will perform; Oct. 6 will feature Jean-Baptist Rubin; Oct. 20 will feature Dongho Lee; and the Nov. 3 concert features Isabelle Demers.

Bible Study Fellowship's Matthew Class
