Ogden police investigating downtown shooting

Ogden police are investigating a Monday night shooting.

The Standard-Examiner reported that a 19-year-old man was shot near the Summit Hotel at 247 E. 24th St., about two blocks south of the Ogden Police Department. Dispatchers received a call about the shooting at 9:21 p.m.

Ogden police Lt. Will Cragun told the Standard-Examiner that the man was transported to McKay-Dee Hospital.

Police have not yet identified the victim.
