BYU receiver Ross Apo, who grew up in Texas, talked about the Longhorns and their place in the college football world after the Cougars' practice on Tuesday.

Apo originally committed to play for Texas, but changed his mind at the urging of Jake Heaps, a quarterback who also signed with BYU.

Apo said he won't do the Longhorn down sign this year, unless the Cougars win the game. Texas beat BYU 17-16 in 2011 when Apo was a redshirt freshman and Heaps was a sophomore.
