Person shot in West Valley City; police looking for suspect

Police in West Valley City were searching for a suspect in a shooting Wednesday night.

The shooting was reported about 10:15 p.m. near 3420 W. Parkway Blvd. (2700 South), dispatchers confirmed. A victim was in serious condition and was taken to a hospital, dispatchers said. Officers were searching the area as of 10:30 p.m.
