St. George police are seeking the public's help in bringing a gun-toting convenience store robber to justice.
St. George police Sgt. Sam Despain said the suspect, wearing a red bandana over his face and clad in a black and white beanie-style cap and dark clothing, entered the Maverik store at 2078 E. Riverside Drive about 3:25 a.m. Thursday.
The suspect, a thin, 5-foot-6 light-skinned male, pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register. The cash was put into a black bag with a large white star on it that the suspect provided.
The gunman then fled east from the Maverik on foot.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the St George Police Department at 435-627-4305.
