Two Utah-based companies that make protective film and cases for mobile electronic devices announced this week they will have accessories made specifically for the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

Both phones, which will be available Sept. 20, are nearly identical in form factor to the current iPhone 5 and were announced by Apple on Tuesday.

BodyGuardz of Bluffdale is introducing four protective films for the phones that protect the touchscreens from scratches and nicks. They range in price from $15.95 to $39.95. The company also is selling carbon fiber cases as well as skins of different colors that are applied like the protective films. The products can be purchased online at www.bodyguardz.com/.

Salt Lake County-based ZAGG is selling a version of its invisibleSHIELD for both the iPhone 5S and 5C. They will range in prices from $14.99 to $39.99. The company also is selling more than two dozen cases for the phones, ranging in prices from $19.99 to $49.99. They can be purchased online at www.zagg.com.
